Debbie Brown
is a 34 year old potter from a well known family
of Acoma potters.

Debbie was
raised to be a potter. At 12 years old, she
was inspired to make pottery by her mother Sarah Garcia and
her late grandmother Jesse Garcia.
Debbie's pottery displays both contemporary and geometric designs.
Her designs are her own, yet well rooted in family and Acoma tradition.
Debbie Garcia and her family are recognized for their
geometric /membres, polychrome pottery.
As with the finest Acoma pottery,
it is highly polished and thin walled.

lightly struck with a finger tip,
you will hear
the most beautiful ringing sound.
