Care and Handling of Pueblo Pottery

Pueblo Pottery requires little care other then an occasional dusting.
Do not wash them or even wipe with a damp cloth.

Older Pots that appear soiled or dirty,
should be left as they are  to maintain their value.

Pueblo Pottery is fragile, particularly Acoma Pottery
which is noted for it's thin walls.  Always use two hands,
placing one hand on the bottom of the pot
to support its weight.

Be sure the shelf or table you use to display your pottery
is safe and secure.

It is best to put a cloth or pad between the pottery
and the shelf.

Weigh pottery down with a small zip lock bag of rice
to keep it secure. Remove the weight before picking up the pot.
